Principal's Message

Welcome to Buttercup Preschool!

It is my pleasure to welcome you and your family to our warm, caring, and inclusive preschool community. At Buttercup, we believe every child deserves a joyful environment where they feel safe, valued, and inspired to explore the world around them.

Our preschool program is built around hands-on, play-based learning that supports the whole child. Through engaging experiences, children develop socially, emotionally, physically, and academically while building confidence, independence, and meaningful relationships. Our classrooms are filled with opportunities for creativity, movement, storytelling, music, sensory exploration, and imaginative play that encourage children to ask questions, solve problems, and discover new interests.

Each month, our learning comes to life through exciting themes that spark curiosity and connect to children's everyday experiences. Whether exploring the changing seasons, learning about community helpers, discovering how things grow, or celebrating what makes each child unique, our teachers create meaningful experiences through books, art, songs, science, dramatic play, and hands-on exploration. Early literacy and math skills are naturally woven throughout the day as children count, sort, build, create, and communicate during authentic learning experiences.

Outdoor play is an important part of every day at Buttercup. Our playground provides opportunities for children to strengthen their bodies, develop friendships, practice cooperation, and enjoy active exploration in a safe and engaging environment.

We are incredibly proud of our dedicated teachers and staff who create nurturing classrooms where every child is encouraged to learn at their own pace and celebrate their individual strengths. Together with our families, we foster a lifelong love of learning and help prepare children for a successful transition to kindergarten and beyond.
